DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide team of agents to achieve sales targets
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in dealership accounts
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Perform research and identify new potential dealers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure The Team is engaged
  • Manage a team of Sales Reps (Territory Sales Reps & Dealer Sales Support)

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES 

  • 10+ years automotive industry experience if possible
  • Extensive industry contacts
  • Experience managing a high-performance sales team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & CRM tools
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to travel when required Nation wide

ADDED SKILLS BENEFICIAL FOR THE ROLE 

  • Promote the development and profitable growth of the automotive subprime banking portfolio as part of market area by developing and implementing a structured marketing strategy to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • Developing strategic sales plans to assist the Sales Team for prospects and existing customers, Identifying prospects/referrals from both internal/external networks.
  • Builds and maintains a high market profile in the assigned market area with both internal and external contacts by planning and completing relationship activities which generate sales opportunities and / or provide value to the customers.
  • Strong PC skills are necessary, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other platforms.
  • Excellent networking skills and interpersonal skills and excellent relationship building and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent sales/closing skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Ensure the Sales Team is adjuring to NLFC Policy and Procedures on daily activities.
  • Keep an eye on competition and be ahead of the curb
  • Well-developed credit skills (i.e., able to qualify and assess credit worthiness of prospects).
  • Identifies, develops, launches and sustains programs and products to enhance revenue and profitability of the Companies goals
  • Supports/leads strategic planning and financial management for Management team
  • Liaises with sales and internal risk team on contentious/complex credits
  • Understands how NLFC’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Coach and Develop direct report’s, along with the opportunity to indirectly coach several levels of NLFC staff on loan structuring and pricing conversations
  • Build, maintain and leverage relationships across internal/external partners
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
  • Provide on ground support for The Sales Team as they generate leads and close new deals
  • Meet with dealers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the qualify of our company’s relationship with them
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture more business
