POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking Territory Sales Representatives candidates to service multiple locations across Canada. The position involves managing a set region and encouraging the adoption and usage of our programs within the current and future dealers in the designated area. Other job requirements include dealer setup, training, managing risk and making assessments on dealer performance as well as promoting our finance products throughout the industry which can include attending industry specific and dealer events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for maintaining and developing dealership relationships to achieve sales, service, and profitability objectives
  • Responsible for identifying and introducing new business relationships.
  • Together with the Regional Director & VP of Sales, sets targets and develops, implements, reviews and revises 3-12 month rolling plan, with a focus on identifying client needs and opportunities that will result in meeting or exceeding sales and service targets. Review and monitor sales and service performance against plan, identify gaps and share best practices
  • Regularly correspond with dealers regarding lending requirements and programs.
  • Build rapport with dealership teams to strengthen and promote sound business relationships
  • Provide timely and effective problem resolution, escalating customer issues as necessary to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive industry trends; make recommendations for updates and/or changes in policy and procedure response
  • Works collaboratively with the Sales, Credit, Funding and Collections teams to provide exceptional service to our dealers and their customers

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES 

The TSR will have 3+ years of related sales experience. The following are required competencies for the role;

  • Post-Secondary education in the areas of Business or Commerce is an asset
  • Experience selling into the area of indirect automotive or consumer lending, financial services is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal skills are required
  • A successful track record of growing sales and ability to deliver outstanding customer service support is required
  • Experience working from a remote or home office is an asset
  • Ability to travel within specified territory on a regular basis
